Job Description: The Senior IOS developer will work on a team developing iOS applications that interface with a cloud based infrastructure to provide connectivity and interactions with IoT devices. The iOS developer is responsible for developing the full User experience within iOS, including storyboards, interface builder, controllers and models. Data persistence and service interaction via iOS networking is a requirement of the position. Applicants should have experience working within the Apple ecosystem, including managing developer accounts, creating multiple applications, testing applications during development, certificate management as well as application submission to Apple. Additionally, successful candidates will have experience working with end user feedback to improve and iterate the application to meet customer needs.

Requirements

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

5+ years minimum hands-on as iOS developer experience building and delivering iOS native apps to enterprise in-house store or public store

Experience in consumer electronics

Involved with developing products through from start to finish, with a special focus on mobile products.

Ability to prioritize and manage work in a fast-paced environment.

Innate understanding of consumer-focused digital experiences.

Strong knowledge of iOS UI design principles, patterns, and best practices

Professional experience with Objective-C, Swift (both 2.x and 3.x) and CocoaPods

Experiences integrating native iOS App with other web applications

Demonstrated experience in web technologies including CSS, HTML5 and JavaScript (Angular, JQuery, Bootstrap, etc), JSON, XML,

Experience with both relational databases (Oracle, MySQL) and NoSQL databases

Experience implementing authentication, authorization, Single Sign On, SAML, OAuth

Experience with AWS, Google Cloud

Experience with in app logs and tracing, experience integrating Crashlytics or other crash reporting tools

Experience working with Wifi and BLE

Experience working with iOS SDK

Proficient with UML models, and use them for communicating and documenting application designs

Strong knowledge of algorithms, design patterns and fundamental computer science concepts

Experience with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services

Understanding of Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines

Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning

Experience with performance and memory tuning with tools

Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

More than one published iOS app

Good oral and written communication skills
